Camillo Monaco

Third son of Pasquale and Gaetana vita di veglie, joined the guardia d onore in 1838 and in 1841 moved to Naples to study law. Once in the capital of the Sicily reign he became part of the Italian and European ideological conversation and started his adventurous story of ‘’liberale temerario mazziniano’’. He married Nicoletta Leanza in naples on July 6 1856, he had 9 children from this wedding. In the volume ‘’ un attendibile Camillo Monaco”, his so Attlio Monaco speaks about his father as a patriotic who wanted independency and freedom, truly inspired by Giuseppe Mazzini.
